Hadley-Lake Luzerne Bridge, Hadley, NY
This majestic bridge carries traffic over the upper Hudson River between the adjacent towns of Hadley and Lake Luzerne, NY. The original deck was replaced with 18 Inverset units, 10’ long x 43.67’ wide, placed transversely across existing deck trusses and girders that were spaced at 30’ on center. A cast-in-place sidewalk behind the brown exposed aggregate fascia panels locked the Inverset units together. The deck replacement project was completed in just 29 calendar days.

Ready-to-use Inverset units were carried across previously placed panels and placed in position with a crawler crane, above. Since the new units were more shallow than the original floor beam deck system, steel pedestals were used as bearing points for the new Inverset units.
