Thornton Road over Pennichuck Brook, Nashua, NH
Pennichuck Brook flows peacefully under this Inverset Bridge in Nashua, NH. The Inverset System was chosen because it minimized design cost and time and because it reduced on-site construction activity in this environmentally sensitive area. The 40’ span bridge was fabricated in three pieces at a 35° skew.

The bridge was erected in sub-freezing temperatures in one day, despite a severe winter storm that hindered delivery the previous day. Inverset units fabricated with a bearing backwall were placed on neoprene bearing pads as seen in the photo above.
