When access to a new residential subdivision required crossing an environmentally-sensitive ravine in Lambertville, NJ the owner chose to install T-Wall® units to minimize the embankment footprint. Attractive rock-textured T-Wall® units were fabricated to artfully accommodate the horizontal and vertical curvature of the roadway above. An exquisite picket fence added to the top of the wall completed the “context sensitive” design.

T-Wall® units encompassing a cast-in-place headwall step up to meet existing grade on each side of the culvert pipe. The 96” concrete pipe is designed to allow passage for water and deer that frequent the neighborhood. A stacked rock form liner was used to texture the face of the T-Wall® units.
