Project Overview
This was the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Design-Build Contract D900039, Region 11 Alexander Hamilton Bridge / Highbridge Interchange. On this very complicated design-build bridge project with a mixture of radial and straight girders, we produced a total of (605) precast concrete deck panels for three ramps in the vicinity of the Major Deegan Expressway / Alexander Hamilton Bridge in Bronx, NYC. Due to varying elevations of the ramps, some of the bridge decks required warped geometry. All bridge deck units were fabricated in Fort Miller’s Greenwich, NY manufacturing facility and delivered to the site via specialized hauling equipment.
Featured Bridge Projects
We have participated in some of the most celebrated bridge projects in recent memory, including the Alexander Hamilton Bridge/Highbridge Interchange, the Kosciuszko Bridge over Newtown Creek in Brooklyn-Queens, New York City, and the replacement of the Tappan Zee Bridge over the lower Hudson River.
