Fort Miller’s precast concrete bridge deck panels were recently installed on the Randall Avenue bridge over I-695 (Throgs Neck Expressway) in the Bronx. A total of (72) 10″ thick panels were cast in Fort Miller’s Easton, NY facility and delivered to the site in April 2018.
The Randall Avenue site is the first of three bridge sites utilizing our bridge deck panels on the NYSDOT Design-Build Contract D900037 with El Sol Contracting & Construction.
When complete, the three bridges will have a total of 58,000-SF of precast deck.
