The construction team of Halmar International / A. Servidone – B. Anthony Construction Corp JV recently reported the last of 1,079 precast concrete bridge deck panels were successfully installed on the I-90 Patroon Island Bridge Project over the Hudson River between Albany and Rensselaer Counties. For Fort Miller, this high-profile project featured stainless steel reinforcement, complex geometry, a monolithically poured deck / parapet, and a rigorous schedule that was driven by Governor Cuomo’s “Drivers First” initiative. Over the course of the 2+ year project, all precast panels were installed without any conflicts or fit-up issues.
