The first of Fort Miller’s 1,320 precast concrete pavement slabs (Super-Slab + Treadle Slabs) being installed on the New York State Thruway’s “Cashless Tolling” project. This landmark project spans from Exit 16 (mile-post 45) to Exit 61 (mile-post 496) and will eliminate all toll booths along the highway system. All slabs are being produced in our Easton, NY manufacturing facility and are being delivered to each site from Woodbury to Ripley.
Slabs are being installed by Cashless Tolling Constructors LLC, a group that is made up of A. Servidone, Inc./B. Anthony Construction Group JV (based in New York and New Jersey); Rifenburg Construction Corp. (based in Troy, NY); and Economy Paving Co., Inc. (based in Cortland, NY).
