In an effort to better serve our customers, The Fort Miller Co., Inc. recently purchased two (2) Mi-Jack Travelift cranes (or rubber tire gantry cranes). These 50-Ton capacity cranes will not only allow us to store product in a much more efficient manner on our 500+ acre facility – they will also lift, transport, and load our precast products in a quicker and more efficient manner! Recently we utilized both cranes to transport a 78-ton (85′ long x 12′ wide) prefabricated bridge unit (commonly referred to as a PBU) across our facility.
